Bonjour! I like to randomly yell French words to get people’s attention. You’re reading this, so…I guess it works. Every now and then, I plan to feature looks I’ve done on either Ace Your Face clients or Illamasqua clients. I’ll do this if I the photos lend themselves to a point I want to make. Recently, I had two back to back transformations to do on two women. I didn’t know what either of them had in mind because originally they were clients of my colleague, Sahra. She couldn’t make it in, so she asked me to fill in the night before. No problem! As it turned out, both women had a very strong idea of what they wanted to look like, and both had events to go to that same day. One a retired goth who loves vampires, and the other was mom to a fairly new baby and hadn’t been out with her husband in ages. You can probably guess that they wanted different things. Client A Directives:

• Pale skin, full coverage
• Dramatic, dark colour all over the eye
• Smokey, with a touch of gold but not too pretty
• Deep red mouth
• No blush, just visual contour on the cheeks

Client B Directives:

• Wanted to match the black, gold and tan top she was wearing later that evening
• No crazy colours, no winged liner
• Very pretty and made to last
• Did not want to look too dark
• Light contouring around cheeks and under jawline
• False lashes
