I know I’ve been away for a few days and I appreciate your patience through all of that.  Most of you know that I live in Birmingham, UK which has been rocked by violence in the last few days. I have just not had it in me to focus on this blog at that time. I am hoping that the apex has been reached and the healing and examination can begin. If you want to read more of my thoughts on the situation, you can see my article on racialicious.com.

This page has had a lot of new visitors in the last few weeks, which is wonderful. I hope all of you, if not some will stick around for the ride. I will be moving this site either to Blogger or a self-hosted site soon so that we can have more of a community (Google Follow, Facebook Widget, etc.). Word Press is wonderfully organized, but limited in some ways. Anyway, on to the FOTD. Someone on Illamasqua’s discussion board on Spektra mentioned how beautiful Pure Pigment in Static is worn over a black base. I decided to try it out and incorporate teal and purple.

Check after the break for a picture collage of this look and a full list of products :o). Unfortunately, these photos were taken with my mobile phone, the camera of which is not that great.
