Estee Lauder Nutritious foundation 5.0, fall makeup trends explained, fall makeup trends nude face, Fall makeup trends on dark skin, how to achieve the no makeup makeup look
When I think of fall, I think of romantic breeze tinged with a slight chill. Leaves slowly falling off trees and littering the ground, mingling with the summery green grass. And colour. Fall is usually filled with rich, deep colours. However, for those who like simplicity the nude face was all over the A/W ’11/’12 runways (D&G, Marc Jacobs, Carolina Herrera). The nude, or no-makeup-makeup-look is one of the most challenging to achieve. It doesn’t mean you throw on mascara and lipstick and go (that’s just minimal makeup). It’s a delicate balance between the amount of makeup you put on; the application of those products and the effect that the products give off. On photoshoots, makeup artists will spend ages bringing out the natural beauty of a model.
As you can see in the photo above, there is a definite difference between no makeup and nude makeup (forgive the super geeky photo on the left). This look didn’t take me a long time. You just need to choose the right products and use a light hand, especially with the foundation. And don’t powder yourself to death! See below for a full list of products.
