On to another year. A better year than 2011, I hope. I went out with G and a few friends (and 1 stranger) on New Year’s Eve. I stopped hyping the last day of the year many moons ago. I celebrate it, but my expectation of unsurpassed levels of enjoyment have been ditched since that whole Y2K scare. Yeah, remember how the world was supposed to end at midnight on 1st of January 2000? Mayan calendar be dammned, it’s probably not going to end this year either. Just make the most of every day you have.
As for my makeup look this past New Year’s Eve? I built the entire look out of a strong desire to wear silver eye shadow, but not look like a disco ball (too trite).
